Learn why artists such as Monet and Van Gogh were fascinated by the iris as a subject for painting as you create your own memorable iris botanical drawing using both colored and watercolor pencils. In this class led by artist Denise Laurin, you will learn the anatomy of the iris for accurate drawing, basic techniques for mastering the medium, and color theory for rendering color and value. Materials will be provided.
