Join us with Connie Martin as she shares her family story of secret codes in patterns of antebellum quilt replicas used to signify safe routes to freedom from Kentucky on the Underground railroad to Canada. Her mother, Dr. Clarice Boswell, wrote Lizzie's Story: A Slave Family's Journey to Freedom, a story about her ancestors' struggles for survival during Pre-Civil War era.
